I just cut my hair, and I want to do soft curls, but I don't know how to with short hair. Help?

My hair is cut in layers up to the bottom of my neck. I have prom in a few hours and I want to make soft curls, but I'm having a hard time. Anyone have any suggestions?I just cut my hair, and I want to do soft curls, but I don't know how to with short hair. Help?

When I cut my hair real short ( I have very straight hair) and wanted soft curls (which was every day) I would wash my hair and put mousse in it, then blow dry, when fully dry I would curl my hair with a curling iron - curling them all toward the back except for the back bottom area where I would curl them upwards. I got numerous complements while working in the casino business. Short hair also looks cute with head bands. Hope this helps.

Do you have any curlers/ straighteners? Cause if so i would use them...just look on youtube.


If not...wash your hair and wrapp the strands around something oblong (or you finger) then remove the object, and pin the hair to your head so its flat against your head. Dry you hair...


Or scrunch with moose/ serum
go to the saloon and watch the hair stylest how she do it and then go and by the thing that she use
try putting leave in conditioner in and use a curling iron
