Why can't I import photos after buying the new Hp Officejet J4580 All-In-One?

I used to be able to import photos from my camera (not phone camera) easily but now that I got the printer Hp Officejet J4580 All-In-One it wont let me import photos or at least I don't know how to with the new settings it has.Why can't I import photos after buying the new Hp Officejet J4580 All-In-One?
As both digital camera and scanner comes in the same category of imaging device, there are a lot of possibilities that either Operating System or User confuse in between them. In your case you have now both the devices and you have been confused by the option of the OS. The simplest of all solution is whenever you try to use digital camera, unplug the USB cable of the Officejet AIO.





Otherwise when both are connected together, you will be prompted to open using photo and imaging device. But look for the device in use just at the top of it which will tell you which option is associated with which device.
