Im trying to hook my pc up to hd tv using a s video cable. on the pc its 7 pin out and tv is 4 pin video in.
is there a way to get a s video cable with 4 pins at one end and 7 on the other or how would i do this?? help thanksHow to with a s video cable?
You have two options.
1.) Obtain a 4pin/7pin S-Video cable. You will not find these at consumer retail stores, so try online. (Ex. http://www.svideo.com/pro724.html)
2.) Purchase a 4-pin S-Video cable. Your PC's 7-pin connection should accept the 4-pin cable that your HDTV uses.
*Note: Your HDTV will NOT accept the 7-pin S-Video cable that your PC may have come with.
