How do you divide a room?

My room is in the attic of my house. So the top of the walls are slanted. I would like to separate half of it, but i don't know how to with slanted ceilings.


And i would like to do it without paying alot of money.

Well if you want a lounge / bedroom, try using seperate colors for each.





Example: blue and yellow for bedroom, and beige and green lounge.

Change the lighting around for each room.





Bedroom can be more personal while lounge a bit casual.





Slanted walls shouldn't be a problem. Dont think of them as negative, be creative with light fixtures!





Think of the attic as a loft!!!!

You can buy cheap vertical blinds that are made for patio doors, hang them on the slant and trim off the bottom. Just make sure that the fixed side is towards the top of the slant so that they won't slide open on their own.
you can try hanging large pieces of fabric like curtain. if its a light material like see through kind of just pin it along the roof.





the only problem with material dividers is if there is a fire they burn easily









You could investigate divider walls. These are temporary and inexpensive. Not sure if they are appropriate for an attic, but you could investigate.
