Okay so I recently bought a 80 gig ps3 and I have been trying to connect it to the internet...but I really dont know how to with a Motorola Mobile modem(at least thats what I think it is)
I used the wire that came with the modem that connects from the Ethernet plug in from the back of the modem to the ps3 but still doesn't work
so any help would be appreciated even a video with your guys help posts would help...

Does your Motorola Modem have WiFi? What model do you have? Does your PS3 have Wifi? If so, as long as you don't have the WiFi locked down in a secured network you should be able to access the internet without any issue.
Is the Online button lit on your modem? Do you see the PC Activity light up and flicker with the PS3 plugged in.
Try connecting the PS3. Power it on. Then Plug in the Modem. Plug the Cable Modem into the Cable jack and then power up the modem. Let it send and receive and hopefully it will eventually go Online.
I'll look for some videos for you but it should be Plug and Play.
