How to invest in mutual funds and how to with draw the amount when required?

I am totally new for share market issues. Now i wouldlike to invest some amount in Mutual funds. How i have to pay money to that and how do i with draw and get liquid cash when i required money.

Is it like a Fixed deposit or what? How to invest in mutual funds and how to with draw the amount when required?
it depends upon- the investment plan u invest

if u use one - which has lockin period then- u cannot withdraw money - but more interest

if u use one without lock in period- more risk, ane time withdrawal

betrter if u go to some broker- start with small invest ment- of 5000 or so

best of luckHow to invest in mutual funds and how to with draw the amount when required?
There are 2 types of mutual funds(in general.)

Open-Ended -%26gt; where u can come out at any time u want

Close-Ended -%26gt; where u invest for a specific period of time , e.g. 5 years or so.

for further details check site www.valueresearchonline.com, on MUTUAL FUNDs.
Check with a broker who works for a reputable firm.

Shes overcrowding my space how do i give her the boot with out booting our friendship?

were not supposed to share lockers but half of our school does and the teachers dotn really care all that much unless it gets to bizarr. well my bff cam eto my locker without asking me. at first it was ok but now its getting ridicules.... i want to tell ehr to go to her own locker but i dotn know how to with out her getting mad at me... she knows the combonation ( i didnt even tell her she just kept watching me everytime i put my stuff in there) i mostly want he rout becasue sh etakes up to much space an dcrowds th elocker so i cant even reach a hand inside also shes ruiend half of my projects becasue she just throws her stuff in there with out looking help meShes overcrowding my space how do i give her the boot with out booting our friendship?
I think you need to move your stuff out and use your backpack.Shes overcrowding my space how do i give her the boot with out booting our friendship?
I'm sorry you are having to go through such an experience. Have you tried talking to her? Maybe you should ask for her e-mail and let her know in a message or even through a letter (Short Message). If it does bother her than it might be that she doesn't really care about your feelings. This can be like a test on your friendship. Let her know though because life is too beautiful to loose time being upset.

Take care!
divide the locker...half of it can go 2 her..half of it 2 u..
is she hot?
If she's doing this without your permission then yes you need to tell her to get her own locker. Don't ever hesitate to tell someone when you need some space, it's just going to cause problems and confusion.
just say something along the lines of,

';look, you ruined my projects because of your carelessness in my locker. so please, if you cant be more carful, get your own locker.';
the only way about that is to flat out tell her off. Just be polite and let her know that shes not welcome
it is probably uncomfortable, but just be nice and say that there is not enough space...if you have to, put more of your things in there...i saw someone else said to ask her for her combo...you can ask if you can store some stuff in there...put things in there that you dont use a lot or maybe she will just move back to her locker. doesnt sound like she is overcrowding you on purpose, so if she still doesnt get it, just tell her nicely you need your own locker...you can even say, if she wants to keep a few tings in yours she can, but you just need some more space as the lockers are small already.
Ask her the combo on hers. Maybe you could just trade?

Or...ask a janitor to reset the combination to something different and just tell her a teacher saw you sharing and told you you weren't allowed to anymore, so they changed the combination.

Settings for viewing PC through TV?

I know this is a rather simple thing to do and I was well aware of how to with older OS e.g. XP and Vista however I am not sure about Windows 7. I have ordered a DVI to HDMI cable which should be arriving in a few days and would like to be prepared for when it arrives.

Preferably I would like to be able to view the PC content on both my TV and my PC monitor at the same time.

Help anyone?

Thanks.Settings for viewing PC through TV?
Shame you didn't mention which video card your using. If its an Nvidia get the latest driver and install, then right click the desktop and click nvidia control panel, go to the options for setting up multiple displays. There is usually two options one to have both screens display the same and one to display as an extended desktop which in effect gives you more working space so you can drag stuff from one screen to the tv. Best to choose the first one if you want to play movies as the extended desktop causes problems when trying to run a movie or game full screen.

The ATI graphics work in a similar way are a little more involved.

  • Can someone enlarge this picture w/o distorting it?

I am trying to enlarge this picture but I don't know how to with out screwing it up.

    http://s6.photobucket.com/albums/y201/chichirme/?action=view%26amp;current=knightlysignal.jpg

Thanks! Can someone enlarge this picture w/o distorting it?
You can save it a stretch it to the max it can. Do it to the point before it happens, that will be the max point for that pic. Can someone enlarge this picture w/o distorting it?
Depends on how much you want to enlarge it. Usually you can only increase it by about 50% before the distorting becomes noticable.

Unfortunately when you enlarge a picture, it increases the number of ';dots'; in the pictures heights and width. The only way a computer can fill in those extra dots is to estimate from the colors above, below, left and right of the the dot. Every time it does that, it ';blurs'; the picture slightly. There is no way to avoid that using only a computer.

It might be able to enlarge the picture if you were to photograph it, and have the photograph enlarged. Or to use a scanner to scan in a larger version of the picture.

First enlarge it to it's double size with Image/Image Size. Make sure the Resample image option is selected and it is set to Bicubic.

As a second step to clear the jagged pixels around the edges apply Filter/Noise/Despeckle. This makes the image softer.

Now enlarge the image to it's double again and apply Filter/Stylize/Diffuse with the Anisotropic option. This will smoothen the edges further and it enhances the edges of the image. The reason we have to enlarge the image before applying this filter is that this filter is extremely evident at 100% and would destroy the reality of the image. At this size you can see that this filter works as if a human would go over the image with a brush and repaint it, improving the edges and getting rid of inconsistencies.

Next reduce the image back by 50% and apply Filter/Sharpen/Unsharp mask with the options Amount 60%, Radius 2 px, Threshold 2 levels. You can experiment with these options depending on your image.

    You are done .....Cheers !!!!

I use to use limewire but have been warned by alot of people that it's not safe...virus etc...any suggestions???Ares is not free try another free downloading for music?
I never heard anyone saying Ares costs money, but I use uTorrent, and eMule.Ares is not free try another free downloading for music?
Hi, try bearshare. Or else go to softonic.com and search for p2p software, these softwares are ranked by softonic and users, you can also read reviews. Hope it helps.
Does it really make you broke to pay 99 cents for a song. All P2P software carries all these risks:

    -identity theft

-RIAA, MPAA, or label suing you

    -virus/spyware

    -adware

    -spam

    -+more

I'd much rather pay 99 cents per song than F*** up my computer and get sued, then have some other person stealing my credit card info and social security number.

Help! I need to know how to...with my hair?

My hair is about an inch past my collar bone so it's medium length with side bangs (to the right). I'm growing it out so I'm trying to not straighten it as much. I don't have a problem with straightening my bangs or the side or just a little bit to stop the frizz but I want to save time and have my hair grow longer by not straightening it.

My hair is really weird. It's neither straight or curly or wavy. It won't hold a curl for a long time or anything. I need help though. How can I blowdry it wavy? I don't want to use a lot of product so that it looks wet all day but I don't want to use heat products on it besides a blow dryer! Help please (: Help! I need to know how to...with my hair?
wow, finally, someone has the same hair type as me and concerns and stuff!

this is so weird you don't even know hahah you have the same hair type as me, same length, we're both even trying to grow it out

i find that just a LITTLE weird ahhaha

well, to get nice curls, you can go out and buy some of that curl booster mouse stuff from garnier fructis or however you spell it and when your hair is kinda damp, after towel drying, put some in your hand and then scrunch your hair, let it air dry, and then use their hairspray. it works well but make sure that you hold it far away from your head or else your hair gets that whole separated look and you can tell your wearing hair spray oh, and if you want some tips on growing out your hair, you can take these biotin pills and prenatal pills which give you extra vitamins that help hair grow

scalp massages activate your hair follicles

anything that helps activate your follicles will help your hair grow

any treatments with spices and apple cider vinegar will help too

there's also this great solid shampoo from lush. on the site its just called ';NEW!'; but its basically cinnamon which, again, helps get your hair follicles moving about

it feels really good on your scalp and smells so good! it just takes some practice using a solid shampoo

there's also a ';jungle'; conditioner that'll stop breakage and help your hair grow long and strong

just make sure you dry both of those so they don't turn to mush and you waste your money

    good luck with everything!

does sensex drops 5000-6000 points coming months? if so how to with stand in market? is there any chance to earn during this period?Does sensex drops 5000-6000 points coming months?
i dont think so. i feel that sensex may see or touch 8500 in a month or so . it will be the right time to put in your money on some good scrips.invest in blue chip companies becaue they will have a mjor effect on the sensex.its very hard to predict a bottom or the high.but you can always start with small quantity at what ever level the sensex may be.

it just depends on what kind of investor you are . are you planning to stay in for a long period [say 3-5 yrs] or short [6-12 months]..

incase you can not follow the market on regular basis then my advice to you is to invest into mutual funds[SIP].Does sensex drops 5000-6000 points coming months?
No body is sure about the level of the sen sex.But one thing can be predicted;the market rally will no sustain.Besides, the market may react to the election result.

So.market may correct after election result but the level of sen sex is uncertain.
I doubt that. You should be looking for good stocks in that market. The markets are just turning around and now is the time to get in while prices are low.

Im sick of spending money on diet programs...?

I've had it with diet programs and downloading pointless things that clame to make you loose 20lbs in 28 days. can anyone just tell me how to with out having to go to a stupid web site, starvation, or spending money???Im sick of spending money on diet programs...?
They only work if you let them But you have to follow the rulesIm sick of spending money on diet programs...?
losing weight with out being part of those programs or pills is easy!

try watching what you eat, like getting the right amount of veggies and fruit. also have a work out plan, like go running a couple times a week or go to the gym. this process may not work as fast as starvation, but its the healthiest way to lose weight! (:
Stop wasting your money on diet programs. There is only ONE way to lose weight: eat healthier and exercise a lot. Everyone know this, but they still try to find these stupid shortcuts to losing weight. Those don't work, you just need to lose weight the real way. Diet programs are just scams.
here's what worked for me some guy made a joke about my weight and i ';trained'; my stomach to eat less all you do is eat a little less with each meal and soon you'll be getting full on just a little bit. NO BED TIME SNACKS AND EAT BREAKFAST bed time snacks just sit in your stomach while you sleep and that's never good because you cant burn it off so you get fatter
try working out, and having balanced meals. try 3-6 small meals a day. measure your food. and work out for at least 30 mins up to 45. there is no cheating on this crap. i myself am trying to lose weight, gimmick programs aren't the way.
I lost weight eating the same food i love but just smaller portions and eat slower you'll get fuller faster...try it it really works drink lots more water this is good for you and it helps keep your stomach full. Oh yes before i forget exercises!!
Keep yourself full with lean proteins and drink a lot of water so you won't be tempted to pig out on foods that are bad for you. Allow yourself one cheat meal a week.
Try lowering your calories and exercises.

You'll be shocked at the results......it actually works, and it's FREE!
Sike yourself out. Use a smaller plate, eat less and watch those carbs. Potatoes and white bread add lots of pounds.
Just eat healthy! Maybe also go for a jog every moring and you'll be fine.
its true eat 1500-1600 calories of healthyish foods and exercise it worked for me i lost 40lbs

  • Ok i want to dump my boy friend but dont know how to with out hurtting him how should i do it.?

please helpOk i want to dump my boy friend but dont know how to with out hurtting him how should i do it.?
When I was in high school, I was dating this guy that was completely head over heels in love with me. I started getting bored of him and tried breaking up with him several times, but every time, he threatened to kill himself. I knew that if he did, it wouldn't really be my fault, but I felt guilty. I cheated on him to piss him off... that way, he'd break up with me and I wouldn't feel so bad. It worked!

I'm not suggesting you do that... but it worked for me.Ok i want to dump my boy friend but dont know how to with out hurtting him how should i do it.?
well.. he'l only get hurt if he truly thot u 2 had sumthn goin.. if u think hez nt botherd then tell him.. if he liked u alot o loved u then mayb u shud make it work.. dont break his heart!!
Send him an email. Say things aren't working out and you don't want to see him anymore.
U SHOULD JUST BE REAL WIT HIM AND TELL HIM THA TRUTH IM SURE U WONT HURT HIS FEELINGS BUT IF U DO HURT HIS FEELINGS DEN JUST TELL HIM YALL CAN BE FRIENDZ
no way of not hurting ...even u will feel hurt ...coz i broke up with my bf today ..thou im the one dumping ... i feel like crying ...
if he really likes you then there is no way to do it without hurting him. Just be honest. If your not it will only hurt him more when he finds out.
Boy, you're in a real predicament. We're talking about dumping, not some mere excuse for why you couldn't turn up last weekend ect. Get it over and done with. If you can justify it with reasons, it would probably intensify/reduce the hurt. I don't know, varies from guy to guy. Good luck.
send him a pack of tic tacs...tell him since he's hung like one, you just can't move the relationship along...
there is NO WAY you can break up with him and not hurt him! just do it and get it overwith
Breaking up with someone without hurting them is near impossible. Tell him how you feel. Most likely he'll be hurt- but just give it time and things should work themselves out.
i wanted to dump him too. since last yr. after several tries, now i noe its impossible. *sigh*
If i was you i would just be completely honest .Tell him the real reason you wanna end it, at the end of the day you shouldnt be with somebody you dont want to be with, its your life live it how you want !!!just be honest and do it in a civilised way.I strongly advise against text dumping , very messy!!

    your hair looks fine there,

    but try this:

    -wash your hair at night

-dry it with a cotton t-shirt instead of a towel

or a blow-dryer to avoid frizz

-use a good leave in conditioner, like fekkai

glossing cream, kimble hair butter, or sebastian whipped creme

-part your hair in 4 sections (sounds weird, i know)

-put one braid in each section

    -sleep like that

-in the morning, take out the braids and mist with

a sea salt spray like sunsilk waves of envy mist

    -comb through a little

Ferberizing , how to with 10 month old ?

ok im reading up on this and to start with 5 mins then increase the time. we have not gone more then two days of him sleeping thru the night since birth. and we have to wait until he is sleeping before putting him in his crib.

i would like to start this method today , but need your help on how you did it with your babies.

how long did he/she cry before falling asleep?

how many days did it take to do this before they fell asleep and stayed asleep?

and anything eles you found usefull while doing it.Ferberizing , how to with 10 month old ?
10 minutes. Let him cry. If he's crying for more than 10 minutes, go in a 'tuck him in' again. Repeat, repeat.

It's hard the first few nights, but it's worth it!!!Ferberizing , how to with 10 month old ?
I found not letting babies cry it out to be a better method. Do what you want though, I have no advice for you.

thumbs down all you want, I prefer to co-sleep.
just to let you know- ferber has changed his views on those things a bit(go aheadd an give me thumbs down)
What I've been doing ever since she started sleeping in her own room is giving her a bottle and letting her fall asleep and then lying her down (I know you're not supposed to do it that way) and she would wake several times a night for her pacifier. At our 6 month appt. the Dr. said to lay down the law, he said we didn't have to do a cry it out method, althought that's what he did with his kids, but to try something.

I couldn't let her cry it out so my husband slept out in the living room and let her cry. The next night she cried for just a few minutes then slept through the night for two weeks straight.

Then she got sick and would only co-sleep and then after that her habits were worse than before.

So I decided to try Ferber. So I put her down after her night time bottle whether she was already asleep or not and if she was awake and started to cry I shushed her and patted her (things she likes) and then left the room. Let her cry for 3 mintues, then went back shushed and patted (did not pick her up) then left the room even if she was still crying. Then repeated after 5 minutes, and then I would have repeated after 10 but she fell asleep in about two minutes. Also 10 min would have been the maxium time, you chose the time you feel most comfortable with.

So for the rest of the night when she woke up, I'd go shush and pat and then leave and she'd cry for less than a minute and then go back to sleep.

After 2-3 nights, she now is back to just waking up for her pacifier, and then goes right back to sleep when I get it for her, and she wakes less for it each night, last night she only woke up once. So I'm thinking about taking the pacifier away, we may have a couple more crying nights.

Originally I was against cry it out, but at 8 months old I think it's ok now because it's the only thing that has worked. It's not like you're just letting them cry by themself, you keep going back in there to let them know you're there, but they start to realize it's bedtime, as long as they're fed, warm, not too warm, and don't need a diaper change, I think they are ok.
You don't think there's actually some sort of science behind this lazy-parenting nonsense, do you? There's no research showing that X minutes for X nights actually does anything good. If you are going to jam your child in a crib and wander off, ignoring sobbing pleas for comfort, just do it and don't kid yourself that you're doing it according to some sort of 'proper' method.

However, there is some research out there. An excellent starting point:

    http://www.talaris.org/pdf/research/CIOP…

    ';we have not gone more then two days of him sleeping thru the night since birth';

That is normal. Your baby is a baby, and one who is developmentally normal.
I just started this with my 13 month old. I spend a few minutes with him. Usually while he drinks his last bottle. Then I put him in bed and stroke his back. The first few nights he didn't want to lie down. So, I walked out of the room for exactly 5 minutes. It was horrible because he cried the entire time. After the five minutes, I would go back in, give him a hug and kiss and lie him back down again. I would rub his back and usually he would fall asleep within 2-3 minutes. Everyday it is progressively getting easier. It has been about a week and a half and I do not have to leave the room for 5 minutes. I just lay him down and rub his back and he falls asleep. Good luck it is hard but it will get easier.

I would like to add that he still gets up in the middle of the night but I just go in and rub his back again and he is asleep within 30 seconds. Before I would spend 10 minutes rocking him to sleep.
Ferberizing? You mean trying to make your baby fall asleep when you want them to and not when they are ready to do so?

Help how would you want your kids to tell you they might be pregnant and or there not a virgin?

i had sex and might be pregnant i need to tell my dad but i dont know how to with out just coming straight out and telling him how would u want ur kids to tell youHelp how would you want your kids to tell you they might be pregnant and or there not a virgin?
do what i did. Leave a pack of condoms on your shelf in sight so when your mum cleans your room she see them and knows.Help how would you want your kids to tell you they might be pregnant and or there not a virgin?
I would make sure I was pregnant first, because what if your not and you tell your dad, you're just gonna be in trouble.

    If you are pregnant,

Dad, we need to talk. I think I might be pregnant.

I don't know any other ways you could just hint the subject to him, without just telling him straight out.

    Hope everything goes well,

    -Macy(:
Wait until you are positive or else it will be a bid to do over nothing. If you are in fact pregnant, I would just come out and say it. You should probably have the father with you, because it shows he wants to step up. If you are planning on putting your baby up for adoption, throw that out there right away. I don't agree with abortion, so I'm not going to suggest that.

NOTE: Always use a condom or get yourself on some sort of birth control. Good luck!
I would first wait and find out if you're pregnant first. No point in discussing that if you're not. However, you should be asking for birth control so you don't have to worry about becoming pregnant as much. Just tell him. I didn't freak out when my daughter told me she'd had sex for the first time. Then we discussed birth control and we got her on depo.
    ';Mom i did IT and i think i might be pregnant';

I would be mad especially since when i do have kids i would lecture them about protection.

    ';Mom i did IT but dont worry i used protection';

I would be happy, they took responsibilty of using protection.

    %26lt;333
I'm still young myself but when I have kids I'm going to just come straight out and tell my mother. I want my kids to be the same with me. I'd rather them tell me straight up than keep it hidden til the last possible moment.
    ';dad, i think i'm pregnant';

    just like that

    - Half up with a clip or hair tie. I also like doing it without a clip. Just twist the upper layer into a bun and pull the end through. That way your hair doesn't get caught on the clip. I also love these:

    - Side parted hair with the front section clipped to the side. I like to use little jaw clips, but bobby pins will work if your hair isn't too thick.

There's also a book out there with curly hair styles called ';Strictly Curls';.

    How to...with babies?

ok so me and my fiance have been trying to have a baby.We used to have sex like a million times a day and what not,but every time i had missed a period or was late it would still always come. I just want to know what and how is the easiest way to conceive a child. I have wanted a kid for the past 4 or so years now and i always get excited but my period always comes. I mean at the time right now i have been having abdominal pain, pelvic pain, and chest pain and last month my period was like spotting and this month the same but just a little bit heavier. I haven't had sex for the past 2 going on 3 months and if im not pregnant or don't get pregnant soon i would like to know what the easiest way to conceive is.How to...with babies?
Me and my fiance are in the same boat. we have been trying for 4years now, but ive just come across this ovulation calendar software which is very helpful and you can record your periods and it works everything out for you. its free and you can access it straight from your desktop.

femta.com it takes 2mins to install.

hope this helps you. goodluck!!How to...with babies?
    check out fertilityfriend.com

It's the best website I've seen for help understanding your cycle. There is a basic membership for free but you can get a fancy one for cheap too.

You should invest in a good BBT thermometer. If you don't know what that is a pharmacist can help you find one. This site is great because it helps you track your cycles and see if you are ovulating, because if you're not ovulating, obviously you aren't going to get pregnant.

How to with Apache, mySQL, phpMyAdmin and WHM?

If I setup my Apache Server at home, first, how do I get the updates for the Apache Server as they come out (is there an automatic way, does Apache update itself or do I have to do this manually?), and second, how do I configure it for ';Failover'; to a second machine at home here (or even a remote server) or both ?

How do I install phpmyadmin, mysql, and an admin panel like WHM?

Also, I have three desktop systems 4 gb ram 2+ ghz etc.. and want to set up RAID 1 on one I'll be using as a server. What do I need, I.E. seperate storage, raid card, different network adapter, cables, software? Is one network adapter better than the other that would work better for a server application and another better for a RAID 1 application? I have been to most of the various sites regarding how to set up a home server, none of which addressed these questions I know it can get expensive and I know it can be done on a budget, Could someone please give me a few examples?

Thank you!How to with Apache, mySQL, phpMyAdmin and WHM?
    Have you looked at:

    http://www.apachefriends.org/en/index.ht鈥?/a>

which has apache, mysql, and php/ phpmyadmin install all at once?

Cpanel/whm install instructions are most likely given to you after you buy:

    http://www.cpanel.net/purchase/cpwhm_pri鈥?/a>

But to install mysql and phpmyadmin is easy if you're installing by itself. Just follow the instructions.

    How to...with a 3mth old?

My baby used to have colic really bad @ 1st but now he's getting older and its getting much much better. He's 3mths now.

When/after u had ur baby when were u able to start

working-out again or start tanning, etc. on a regular basis?

I find it so hard cas its just me with very little help and prefer not to take him Everywhere with me. I just don't think u should be toting a baby like an accessory and having burp and change him in public, etc.. Just feels like a hassle right now until he's a little more independent.

When were you able to start doing more things?

Or when were you able to take him with while you did things, etc.?

    How old was your baby/babies/kids?

    Were/Are you good while traveling/mutlitasking with kids, etc.?How to...with a 3mth old?
I am only answering this questions, because my experience has been very different than the rest. With my first born, I stayed home with him for the first nine months. I did not have a vehicle so we spent a lot of time walking (with him in the stroller). Once he started crawling, my life got a ton easier- he could entertain himself and follow me around.

With my daughter (she's 9 months old now), we have taken 1 long drive (6 hours in the car) and she did great. However, we are going to wait for her to be a little older before we take any more long trips.

I still have not found the time to workout or do things for me- (probably is my choice). I work full time, I take care of the household (cooking, grocery shopping, laundry, mowing the lawn, etc.) and I take care of my kids. My husband ends up taking care of the baby as I do better with my 2.5 year old.

Start out with quick trips out- you will get the hang of it and your child will love it especially at 3 months. How to...with a 3mth old?
I think it is important to take your child with you places because if you get them used to being in the store/restaraunt whatever, they will know how to behave in public. Just imagine one day taking your toddler to the store for the first time because you just have no other choice and they act like a an animal you have just taken from the wildnerness to your living room.
I took my baby everywhere after the first 3 weeks. You just make sure that you have all that you need. Bottles, diapers, wipes, etc. It's not hard once you get used to it. I just ensure that my diaper bag has all I need in it at all times. Check out some mommy and baby work out classes. I heard the salsa dancing is excellent. You learn to multitask. You have to, otherwise you get cabin fever at home.
My son has gone every where with me pretty much from day 1. I just put him in a sling and off we go. I breastfeed him and he won't take a bottle so he has to go every where with me. I really like it because I know he won't be a baby forever. He even comes to work with me but that's only because im the owner. I hope that helps and good luck.
my son is 4 months, and we just went to the mall for first time. only other places he has gone, is to dinner w/ friends or family, and to peoples houses. I also just took him garage saling w/ me in his stroller. He's pretty good, until I stop pushing the stroller lol
I always have taken my baby everywhere. He has yet to be sick and he is 6 months old. He went out to dinner with us at 3 days old and went on a weekend vacation with us at 11 days old. Sorry if you don't' feel thats appropriate but thats how I got stuff done and thats what we did. Good luck.
I have 5 month old twins so I have been extremly busy. I have become very good at multitasking. I am now able to cook, clean, do just about anything with a baby on my hip. I made the mistake of taking my kids out when they were little. They both ended up getting RSV and being in the hospital for 2 months. But since they got that so young the doctors said that it made their immune systems stronger. At five months my daughter got RSV again but she was able to handle it on her own this time. My five month old son has heart problems so he is prone to infection anyways. If I have to bring them out, I do it around their schedule. If I have to run to the store I usually do it right after they got done eating and just got changed. That way I don't have to worry about doing that kind of stuff in public. Now with them being five months old I can do just about anything. If you want to go tanning, then go. The doors have a lock on them, so try to go during nap time. You're only in the bed for like 20min max. So do it when you know that the baby will be sleeping. Work out at home. Or if that is not an option, ask someone to babysit. You'll get the hang of it. Besides you need some alone time or else you'll go insane!
I am a mother of 3 girls, ages 4, 2 and 11 months. I know for me is was so much easier to take them out as little ones (under 24 months). One of my first trips out after my last daughter was to get a pedicure, I think she was about a week old (the other 2 were in daycare).

On weekends, I hardly leave the house with all 3 in tow. Inevitably one of the older 2 will throw a fit in public, so I try not to even put them in the situation. If I do go out I take the baby and one of the older ones. I can usually get what I need done that way.

Day-to-day, though, I just make time in my schedule after work to get my shopping done so I don't have to take the kids.

Our big test will be this winter, when we drive or fly all 3 to Boston for my sister's wedding.
well my daughter is 7 years old now, and she acts like she is 14 (arghh) anyways, at 3 days old, I was out and about with her everyday (walking) at 2 weeks old, I was running again (with her in her stroller) I am a single mother, work full time, own a home, have two large dogs, two birds and a cat. So from the beginning I never really had any help, so while I was mowing the lawn, she was in her car seat (On the front steps) she has always come with me to the grocery store, shopping, theatres (They have Mom and Tots day at the theatres here so I took her there from 3 months on)

I guess I was ok with multitasking, however I can say, 8 pm would roll around and I probably would pass out immediately (Even before she would!)
Is this your fist child? I was a virtual prisoner with mine because she was colicky and I didn't know what to do. The minute she barely whimpered in a store, I would leave. But now with my second (who is 2 mos) I know that if she fusses for 5-15 minutes it won't kill either of us and I can get the errands done. I take her everywhere with me except for personal stuff like getting my hair and nails done. That is my time! So I ask my father-in-law or a neighbor to watch her so I can run out without child for an hour or so and pamper myself. Or I wait for my husband to get home and go then. As for working out, I walk and run with her, but some gyms will offer free 1-hour sitting at their facility (like the YMCA). Also, I flew almost all the way across the country with the 2 mo. old and had no problems. People are very helpful and understanding when it comes to feeding and changing a baby in public and if bothered anybody, I didn't notice. As with anything, the more you go out/travel/multi-task with kids, the easier it gets. Your confidence builds in time. I wish someone had told me this with my first because I went crazy sitting home all day. Good luck!
My baby comes with me everywhere and she is most certainly not an accessory, rather, a little human being. I waited to really take her out and about until she received her first set of immunizations and once the weather was a bit warmer. We also drove from the midwest to FL to see family - she's already been on a plane and she's 4.5 months!

Sounds like having a baby was more of an inconvenience for you perhaps? Have someone watch him/her and bring her with you so you can introduce him/her to the world!
oh please dont worry what people think there are babies everywhere and 9 out of 10 people you will see will be parents themselves and would have heard a thousend burps, my boy is 3 months old and he is loveley to take out, i just have to make myself take bottle, nappies, wipes, change of clothes in case hes sick and away i go, its very important that you get out and about with your baby it will mek you more confident as a mother , they are much more portable wen they are this age as they slleep a lot, work out when your babys asleep and tan on a weekend when your hubbys there to watch him for an hour while you go, and please dont see your child as a burden he is a blessing, and a miracle how you made him, a beutifull little humen being.
When I had my daughter I started leaving my house all the time when she was only 4 days old. Granted she pretty much lived in her car seat but I was still able to visit friends and family. You just need to be comfortable enough to go out with your little one. I was scared for germs also and made everyone wash their hands before they held her but you quickly get over that. Shes only had 2 colds since shes been born. We actually went camping one month after she was born for 4 days. My daughter is now 11 months old and I am currently 7 months pregnant with my second. I still get out of the house. Go out to eat with friends and shop when I feel like it and take her with me. She loves going out. People love seeing babies. If you are concerned about feeding and burping in public (like I was at first) go out to your car to do all that. I later got something called Hooter Hiders (seriously) it's like a shawl that covers your body with a strap that goes around your neck. It has a wire that holds a small portion over your chest up so you can still see whats going on. I know how hard it can be to try to use a blanket. Until I got the Hooter hider I always told people I was going to feed my baby and if their was a problem than they can feel free to leave the room. As for working out, I always did it at home with a fitness channel While my baby was napping or playing in a toy. Besides, when your baby gets older and can move around on their own you will be getting plenty of exercise just chasing after them. I wish you luck.
i always took my baby everywhere. for exercise, i push her in her stroller to %26amp; around the park. things are easier than ever, now that nursing is not so complicated %26amp; rigid. she's 3 months now. i get paranoid about germs, too, but then i remember--allergies %26amp; asthma are quite likely caused by kids not being exposed to ENOUGH germs. my mom was a clean freak, and my brother %26amp; i have both. my little girl has only gotten one little cold (stuffy nose)--even with an obnoxious snot nosed toddler shoving her dirty little fingers into my baby's mouth!

How to with overly strict parents?

I know I might seem like an average teenager, but I really don't know what to do. I get good grades, and I have never gotten in trouble. Yet my parents still don't trust me at all. While my friends are allowed to stay out till midnight and go downtown alone, I get interrogated when I asked to go to the convenience store two blocks from my house.

The main problem is that I really want to go to a concert, because it is only at 5:30. I was so excited when my mom agreed to let me go with a friend, and I bought the tickets. Today I found out she will only let me go if I don't go to prom. Sneaking out is out of the question. She won't let me go to other people's house unless she talks to their parents, and she thinks I will sneak out.

What can I do?How to with overly strict parents?
    Just do as your told.

When you turn 18, you can move out and go where you want. How to with overly strict parents?
this may not be what you want to hear but I suggest you do as your parents wish. I think that w/them you will see that the reason for them being strict is sound and logical. Be patient, Wait and you will be rewarded fro your patience. Have you talked them....seriously about your concerns? there may many variables that are unknown to you, try to find them by talking w/your parents.....Personally, I don't think good grades are enough to allow you out. Try to find the reason why, Good Luck!
seems that's a very tough situation, why don't you just take a sit with them and tell them what you really feel about these things. i think they will understand 'cause they've been to that age too.

don't worry everything has its own reason and time, just try to do the right things and don't rebel 'cause you're on the right track. soon they will realized there mistakes. :p
    how old are you?

im sure she trusts you. she just doesnt trust other people.

to be honest, you can be the best kid in the world and im sure ur mom knows this.

but there are so many whackos out there who can ruin things, u have to be extra careful.

get a job and cell phone so maybe she can keep track of u better when you're out. she just wants you to be safe.
You need to sit down your parents and talk to them. Tell them that these years are never going to be given back to you and if they will not let you go to prom then they're basically stealing your childhood.
    1) Lie...say you have to do a project or somethin

    2)REBEL
tell them you hate them and threaten to commit suicide... if that doesnt work kill them... worked for me
Try putting your foot down. I get so sick of hearing how parents want to control their teens. It's disgusting. Yes, you need guidance if you're a minor and yes they should know what you're doing and who your friends are. You seem like a good kid to me and I think making good grades should count for something. You're at an age where parents need to start letting go some and trust that what they have instilled in you will stick. Letting you have more choices helps you to become more self confident. I find that those who had really strict parents watching their every move were those who didn't have a lot of self confidence in their decision making as adults. They felt they had to do everything exactly the way mom and dad wanted them to just to please them for the rest of their lives. As long as they know where you are and they give you a time to be home by, then I don't see a problem.
in tell you are 18 you have to what they say.that's the way it's is.you have to look at there point of view these days it hard to keep your kids safe. so they are doing what they know how to do.by keeping a eye on you.i know you would like to be like the other kids but have you though that there mom's and dad's don't care about what happens to there kids.it true most of your mom' and dad's don't care were the kids are.if you had to ask them were is there kids they could not tell you.that's why they do what they do.be because they love you and they just wont to keep you safe ok.so don't be so hard on them they are doing the best they can.if you wont more free med then you need to prove to them you can be trusted.so work on that and see what happen's ok.your friend fred
Wow. i feel as if i'm the same with as you are. I'm fifteen goin on 16 in 3 weeks, and i came to a conclusion, it really depends on how much you want to go to any of those events.

If you really want to there is no other way about it, except breaking the rules, i know you will get found out, but whe you get in trouble , n matter how strict the parents will and can't be mad forever.

sorry, i want to play life by the rules, but you can't be controlled forever, and i chose to persue my desire's, just don't let it affect the rest of your life, you may feel the urge to break more rules and be an 'average' teen once you do this.

    - Good Luck, I say go to that concert and Go to prom if you want to.
Well, if the deal is that you can go to the concert or you can go to the prom, you need to pick. If you want to go to the prom, can you get your money back or sell the tickets to the concert?

Yah, it doesn't seem fair that your mom didn't let you in on the ';one or the other'; situation before you bought the tickets, but it is what it is. Stick with what you know is right - not sneaking out, keeping up your grades, etc. Soon enough you will be on your own.
Talk to her. Maybe she would like to go to the concert with you. They sound like good parents to me. It isn't that they don't trust you it is they also were young once and they also know that most teens will cave in to their peers. It's called ';peer pressure.'; Your parents are protecting you and you should be very glad that they care this much. Not all parents care what their kids are doing.

Just sit down with her and tell her that you really want to do both and is there a way that it could happen? She may work with you when she sees that both events are very important to you. If she stands her ground then go to the concert. Later on see if she might relent and let you go to the prom under her conditions.

How To.....? { with my cage}?

okay so i have a crittertrail delux discovery hamster cage. and if you know every crittertrail actual cage comes with a food dish and this is my cage+ food dish: http://s3.amazonaws.com/tc-photos/11442/鈥?/a> ( the food dish is in the cage in this picture)

and as you can see the only wiring is in the back of the cage and not in the front. i want to make my food dish hang on the cage like it hangs low enough for the hamster to eat but the bowl doesnt touch the ground.

what materials are safe for this? like i want to use bendable medal but i don't have any.How To.....? { with my cage}?
Buy some not painted wire. I had to bind up some bars in my hamster cage, because it was missing a couple (my hamster escaped on my first day having it :O) and used that. I'm sure, by the way, the cage is not too small for a hamster. It might be a pain to clean though. How To.....? { with my cage}?
its kinda small... but you can use wood
Thats too small for a hamster
